Handcrafted in California, our wind spinners are designed to create a magical optical illusion as they spin. As the copper spiral turns, the crystal ball within appears to levitate and move up or down depending on which way the spiral is spinning. This fascinating optical illusion amazes everyone, and most people find watching it to be a mesmerizing and soothing experience. Windancer Spinners make a great addition to a patio or garden and add a magical touch to any room.
Constructed of high quality C110 solid copper rod, the spirals are shaped around a form of our design to hold either one or two quartz crystal balls. The crystal balls are manufactured by pulverizing pure, natural quartz crystal, melting the powder and forming it into a solid clear block from which they are carved. The high quartz content results in a beautifully clear, reflective ball.
To make our spirals spin with the wind, add one of our wind catchers to the top. Our wind catchers are made of sheet copper, given a sparkling, reflective finish and then heat treated to add color and finally sprayed with a clear coat to protect the finish. The wind catcher is not needed for indoor use, just give the spiral a spin and it will wind and unwind on the included string.
